Paperless Construction Site
Design
The interior design concept is inspired by the atmosphere of a setting sun in the mountains. Carefully selected cool grey tones convey tranquility and restraint, while warm orange accents provide comfort and radiance. This creates a harmonious interplay of elegance and security. A defining highlight is the strikingly angled kitchen block in the center of the living space, whose design language is directly derived from the distinctive lines of the Kaiser Mountains.
Construction
The construction site for this project was realized entirely paperless using BimX. From the previously developed overall model, a BimX model was created that unifies all disciplines: architecture, interior design, MEP, specialist planning, landscaping, and lighting design. Both the external planning documents from specialist planners and all internal plans were directly linked within the model. A decisive advantage of this working method was that outdated plan versions were eliminated – there was always only a single, current online model that was immediately transferred to tablets on the construction site. Supplementary documents, such as workshop and assembly drawings for the luminaires, were also available at all times via links on our own CDE.
Completed
A central design element is the strikingly angled kitchen block, whose design language is inspired by the Kaiser mountain range. Nearly all custom-made built-ins in the house conceal refined, well-thought-out details that not only create additional storage space but also significantly simplify daily life through their versatile functionality. A particular eye-catcher is the shimmering silver, sculptural block in the center of the living space. At first glance, it appears to have no function – however, it actually provides generous storage space and also conceals access to three other rooms that are barely discernible from the outside.
