Bird in the Tree, Munich

Why name a project “Bird in the tree”? Because our design gives the resident the feeling of a cozy nest in the crown of a tree…

Design

In our projects, we focus on humanity, agility and sustainability. And connect external worlds with constructive, aesthetic, functional and poetic spatial structures. We have achieved this here through a fireplace wall made of Shou Sugi Ban wood and wall coverings made of real wood – matching the flooring.

Construction

The bulthaup kitchen, installed as a central point and meeting place, changes its color like a chameleon due to the
“Alu sand beige” surface – depending on the incidence of light and weather conditions: Sometimes it has a slight summery green tinge, sometimes it looks silvery. Each piece of furniture was planned to measure during the shell construction phase and coordinated in detail with the other trades. ,,Healthy Materials” e.g. sheep’s wool insulation in the entire ceiling panel are obligatory.

Completed

The invisible integration of the lighting and media systems as well as other technical features into the wall coverings or shelves supports the harmonious, tidy overall appearance.
